1. Platform Overview

RigHaven is an online marketplace that connects commercial truck drivers seeking overnight parking with independent lot owners who list parking spaces. RigHaven is a technology platform and payment facilitator — it is not the owner, operator, or bailee of any listed lot, and it does not control lot conditions, on-site staff, or physical access. Each lot is owned and operated by an independent third party.

2. User Accounts & Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate, current information to use RigHaven. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Lot owners must additionally complete Stripe Connect onboarding (Section 6) before accepting bookings.

3. Driver Terms — Bookings & Lot Access

By booking a spot you agree to: (a) arrive and depart within your reserved dates; (b) park only in the assigned space and follow posted lot rules; (c) use the gate entry code provided solely for your reservation and not share it; (d) keep the lot free of litter, hazards, and prohibited cargo; and (e) leave the spot in the condition you found it. Trespassing outside reserved hours, or entering a lot without an active reservation, is prohibited and may result in account termination. The entry code is temporary and expires at the end of your check-out day.

4. Lot Owner Terms — Hosting Agreement

By listing a spot you represent and warrant that: (a) you own or are lawfully authorized to offer the property for paid truck parking; (b) your listing details (location, amenities, capacity, pricing) are accurate and current; (c) you will honor all confirmed bookings and provide working access (including a valid gate entry code) for the duration of each reservation; and (d) your lot meets any applicable local, state, and federal regulations, including zoning, business licensing, and safety requirements. You are solely responsible for the physical condition, security, and operation of your lot. RigHaven may remove listings that violate these terms or fail verification.

5. Payments & Pricing

Drivers pay through Stripe at the time of booking. The total shown at checkout is inclusive of all charges. RigHaven charges a 12% platform fee on each booking, which is retained from the host's payout. Prices are set by lot owners. All amounts are in U.S. dollars.

6. Host Payouts (Stripe Connect)

Lot owners receive payouts through Stripe Connect. When a driver pays, the charge is collected by RigHaven on the platform account and the host's share (total minus the 12% platform fee) is automatically transferred to the host's connected Stripe account. Payout timing from the connected account to the host's bank is governed by Stripe's payout schedule. Hosts must complete Stripe Connect onboarding and maintain an account in good standing to receive payouts. RigHaven is not liable for payouts delayed or withheld by Stripe due to a host's account status.

7. Cancellation & Refund Policy

A driver may cancel a reservation from "My Bookings." Refunds are issued automatically to the original payment method based on how far in advance of check-in the cancellation occurs: a full refund if cancelled 72 hours or more before check-in; a 50% refund if cancelled between 24 and 72 hours before check-in; and no refund if cancelled less than 24 hours before check-in or after check-in has begun. Refunds reverse the corresponding transfer to the host. Cancellations free the spot for other drivers immediately.

8. Property Liability Waiver & Assumption of Risk

Parking at any listed lot is at your own risk. You acknowledge that truck parking involves inherent risks, including but not limited to theft, vandalism, damage to your vehicle or cargo, fire, weather, and the actions of other drivers or third parties. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you assume all such risks and RELEASE, WAIVE, and DISCHARGE RigHaven, its affiliates, officers, and employees from any claim, loss, or damage arising from your use of any lot or your presence on a host's property. You agree that your sole recourse for property loss, damage, or injury is against the lot owner, not RigHaven. You are encouraged to maintain your own commercial vehicle and cargo insurance.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RigHaven from any claim, liability, damage, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the platform, your violation of these Terms, or your conduct on a host's property, to the extent permitted by law.

10. Prohibited Use

You may not misrepresent a listing, abuse the refund or review systems, harass other users, list a lot you do not control, use the platform for any illegal activity, or attempt to circumvent the payment system. Violations may result in listing removal, account suspension, and forfeiture of pending payouts.

11. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

RigHaven is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. RigHaven does not warrant that any lot will be available, safe, or as described. To the maximum extent permitted by law, RigHaven's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the platform is limited to the amount of fees RigHaven earned from the transaction at issue, and in no event shall RigHaven be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

12. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State in which RigHaven is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes informally first. Any unresolved dispute shall be resolved through binding arbitration on an individual (non-class) basis, except small-claims matters may be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts, remove listings, or withhold payouts for violations of these Terms at our sole discretion. You may stop using the platform at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (liability, indemnification, dispute resolution) remain in effect.

14. Modifications

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of RigHaven after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
