"Hit the Lovelock weigh station on I-80 eastbound three times this month and each time the pre-pass was ignored — they pulled me in anyway. Asked the officer about it and he said they've been doing enhanced inspections on all Class 8s regardless of pre-pass status. No violations on any of my inspections but it's adding 20–30 mins each time. Anyone else seeing this? My dispatcher thinks it's a targeted enforcement window."

"I know everyone talks about Pilot and Love's but the Sapp Bros on I-80 in Omaha (exit 440) deserves more credit. Showers were spotless, hot water immediately, no wait at 7pm on a Tuesday. The restaurant inside has actual home-cooked food — not the usual truck stop stuff. Plenty of parking. I've been stopping there for 6 months and it's consistently the best stop on my I-80 runs. Give it a shot."
