This page summarizes the key legal terms for drivers and lot owners and states the property liability waiver that applies to everyone using RigHaven. The complete terms are in our Terms of Service; by using RigHaven or completing a booking you agree to both.
User Terms of Service
- Bookings: You pay through Stripe at booking; the total shown is inclusive of all charges.
- Lot access: Use the gate entry code only for your reservation, park only in the assigned space, and follow posted lot rules. Trespassing outside reserved hours is prohibited.
- Conduct: Keep the lot free of litter and hazards, and leave the spot in the condition you found it.
- Cancellations & refunds: Full refund if cancelled 72+ hours before check-in, 50% within 24–72 hours, and none under 24 hours. Cancel from My Bookings.
- Accounts: You must be 18+ and are responsible for all activity under your account.
Hosting Agreement
- Authority & accuracy: You own or are lawfully authorized to offer the property for paid truck parking, and your listing details are accurate and current.
- Honor bookings: You will honor all confirmed reservations and provide working access, including a valid gate entry code, for the full stay.
- Compliance: Your lot meets applicable zoning, licensing, and safety requirements. You are solely responsible for the lot's physical condition and security.
- Payouts: You receive payouts through Stripe Connect. RigHaven keeps a 12% platform fee from each booking; the rest is auto-transferred to your connected account.
- Verification: RigHaven may remove listings that violate these terms or fail verification, and may withhold payouts for violations.
Property Liability Waiver & Assumption of Risk
Applies to all drivers and visitors on a host's property.
Parking at any listed lot is at your own risk. Truck parking involves inherent risks, including theft, vandalism, damage to your vehicle or cargo, fire, weather, and the actions of other drivers or third parties. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you assume all such risks and release, waive, and discharge RigHaven, its affiliates, officers, and employees from any claim, loss, or damage arising from your use of any lot or your presence on a host's property.
Your sole recourse for property loss, damage, or injury is against the lot owner, not RigHaven. You are encouraged to maintain your own commercial vehicle and cargo insurance.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RigHaven from any claim, liability, damage, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the platform or your conduct on a host's property, to the extent permitted by law.
